How it works

This tool estimates how likely an image is AI-generated based on visual signals. It’s a probabilistic indicator, not definitive proof.

What happens when you upload

• We analyze a set of visual patterns (detail consistency, texture, edges, noise, artifacts).
• Signals are combined into a score (0–1) and a confidence label.
• When signals are mixed, we report an “uncertain” zone to avoid false certainty.

What it cannot do

• It cannot identify the specific AI model or platform used.
• It cannot determine authorship or intent.
• It can be wrong, especially with heavy compression, resizing, screenshots, or edited images.

Tip: Use this as a first check. For high-stakes cases, combine with source verification and metadata/context checks.
